This is one of my favorite courses I have ever taken, as I've always loved watching animations on YouTube and I wanted to try making some myself. The course had a couple major projects which I have included below.
Final Project: This was the final assignment of the course, and it involved storyboarding, animating, and adding sound effects. I reinterpreted the scene we were given as a cell in a mental asylum and had a lot of fun with the movement and sound effects.
Flour Sack: This assignment was to create an animation of a flour sack jumping off a hay bale and exiting the scene
Walk Cycle: This assignment involved creating a character and animating a looping walk cycle. I had extra time when working on this one so I added full color and shading
Midterm: For this shorter assignment, the focus was on facial expressions and movement, with the character needing to change between two distinct poses. I wanted to really embrace the exaggerated animation you'd see in something like a cartoon from the 40s.
